Hello.
I am a pastor, speaker, church/nonprofit strategist, and coach based in Spokane, WA with over 20 years of ministry experience working in all corners of church and parachurch ministry. What you need to know about me is that I am passionate about the local church. It is a place where God transforms us and invites us to be part of God’s transforming grace throughout our world. I love seeing how different churches live into this invitation based on the gifts of each person, the community as a whole, and their unique social location.
As a pastor, I care deeply for the churches and leaders I work with. As a speaker, I love thinking deeply about scripture and how to articulate the truths of the Gospel in a compelling and relevant way. As a consultant, I love thinking strategically about how people can experience God and participate in God’s dreams for our world. And as a coach, I love to clarify and empower ministry leaders to thrive!
I’ve worked in large churches and tiny churches, new church plants and long established congregations, traditional liturgy and contemporary, theologically conservative and theologically liberal churches. I’ve served as a pastor to college students and young adults, as a pastor to young families, and as a pastor to a congregation of seniors.

Certified coach through the COACH model.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor of Arts: Economics and Communication from the University of Washington
Master of Science: Public Relations from Boston University
Master of Divinity: Fuller Seminary.
